Apologies if this is well known but I recall picking up oblique references
to this on the boards and given that Wilson is retailing at the same price
as VS, it would make sense. Why Wilson and Babolat would bother is a different
matter...

When i strung up a racquet with Wilson gut, i was shocked at how "babolat"-ish
it felt.. Rumour has it that the wilson gut is like, the Babolat stuff
that didnt quite make the grade. But that's just what i've heard and may
be completely wrong.. But i definitely saw the similarities, the feel,
texture, even the SMELL.. Babolat gut has a really distinct smell.
