The Spintex people are claiming this natural gut is made of cow but I do have the feeling it is made of sheep intestines.
The first racket (Völkl Tour 9) strung at 26kg (+ 10% pre-stretch) snapped at the fourth main while stringing but the second attempt at 25/25 (without pre-stretching) did the trick. Seems to me this string isn’t able to handle higher tensions.
Whilst stringing, a lot of coating was coming off during the pulling process and after stringing I had to clean my machine, especially the gripper and the clamps. Right after stringing DT was 39 (ERT 300) and within the next 6 hours DT dropped till 37. The next 18 hours, DT stayed at 37.
Yesterday I had a hit for around one hour with this setup (indoor). The string is playing crispier and is less powerful than other natural guts. Also, the strings started to move after 10 minutes playing with topspin. I had to adjust my grip and started to play more old school. Nevertheless I noticed the crosses are already fraying (not that much but it’s noticeble) and I’m wondering how long it will take before they snap. DT dropped till 36 which is only a tension loss of appr. 0,5kg after one hour of hitting.
Had my second hit with this setup yesterday. Some pros and cons:
This string is providing a lot of dwell time, and at the same time, a very smooth ball acceleration. Shots are staying lower and are more difficult to handle for the opponent. As expected, touch and feel are outstanding. Volleys are easy to put away but I was suffering to keep the ball in with my first service. My second serve wasn't as spiny as usual and was much easier to attack. As I said before, the mains are moving a lot and after each point you really have to put them back in place, which is indeed annoying. Tension stability seems to be ok (minus 2 DT after 2 hrs of hitting) but premium natural guts are holding tension much better.
IMHO this string would be a nice cross string to soften up the stringbed and to add some extra touch and feel.

Danke!
Würd die dann wohl mal in ner Hybrid probieren.
Schläger: 2x Babolat Pure Storm Tour + GT L2
Schuhe: Adidas Barricade V weiß/schwarz/blau
@ pirce1:
Are your crosses also fraying?
And what about your mains? Do they stay in place the way a normal co-poly setup is performing?
With my full natural gut setup it was really horrible and in fact the reason why I cut them out of my racket today. I'm going to test drive this string in a hybrid next week.
