Laut Babolat: "Cortex System: FILTER - Filters out vibrations which interfere with feel in order to enhance the feel of the ball"

Das sagt TW dazu:[...]"The added length of the Pure Drive Plus Cortex definitely provided the expected power and spin to shots from all areas of the court, but the real bonus was the increase in stability. The increase in swingweight which comes hand in hand with longer racquets made for a very solid response in the Pure Drive Plus Cortex. We found excellent stability hitting volleys and returns of serves, making this the ideal stick to be wielding when the ball is coming with some serious heat and weight. The increased leverage provided plenty of zip off the ground, which also made this a great stick for when we were the ones supplying the heat.

Overall A very solid update to the Pure Drive Standard, this version with Cortex offers just as much feel, but with improved comfort. Our entire team agreed that the Cortex technology did its job and they'd all use this version over the previous Pure Drive. Our testers enjoyed hitting with ample spin and pace from all areas of the court. The racquet's maneuverability also made it a solid performer on returns and volleys. While it's no secret the Pure Drive is a great fit for aggressive baseline players, doubles specialist looking for some added pop with excellent maneuverability should also give this stick a try.
